UK trustees are unpaid.

The children are very poor but with good food, healthcare and quality education they are achieving excellent academic results allowing them to access secondary education.

The school, owned by the Mustard Seed Project,  provides sustainability for the project in the future.

All expenditure is carefully monitored and money can only be accessed with two trusted signatories.

Money in Kenya is in two different bank accounts and only the money needed to run the school is transferred each month. No-one in Kenya has access to the main bank account.

Accounts are sent on a monthly basis and are checked against receipts when UK trustees are in Kenya

The UK trustees spend two months of the year working in Kenya.

Rita provides in-service training to their dedicated qualified teachers and closely monitors the school.

Geoff works with local businesses, colleges, the youth and women.

Thanks to modern technology they are also able to resolve issues raised by the Kenyan trustees, head teacher and others from the UK between visits .
