Sophie, below raised £5.71 by selling her Christmas sweets. Dauntsey School raised £19,000 as a result of a year of fundraising. All funding helps to keep a child in school receiving quality education, a healthy diet and healthcare. Look at our shopping list  to see what your money could buy. You can even donate to us for free when you do your shopping on-line.

Sonal climbed Killimanjaro and raised £8,000

Other fundraising has been as a result of: coffee mornings, asking friends to make a donation for a special birthday, doing a quiz night, running a marathon, putting jars on the counter in a shop for people’s loose change. The possibilities are endless.

Christ the King Primary school

Schools have done many fundraising events over the last ten years through a variety of hugely inventive things from a ‘Colour run’, using the parable of the talents to create and sell things, cake sales, throwing wet sponges at teachers, non-uniform days. The list really is endless and if you want some ideas just ask. At work maybe you could ask for matched funding for any money you raised or, even better, get your boss to support Mustard Seed Project through their CSR programme.

Importantly, if you live within two to three hours travelling time of Peterborough we would be more than happy to come and do a presentation to get the ball rolling. For a big fundraising event it may be possible to travel further. Just ask.
